Day 1
After school we left for the park. The drive was around 8 hours. We stopped at a restaurant on the way up and Wal-Mart. When we got there we set up camp and started a fire. Every one was tired so we went into our tents and dozed off.

Day 2
I woke up early and got a glimpse of a few deer near our camp ground. A few others and I prepared breakfast. When we were done we got to relax and do what we wanted. The camp ground was excellent. My friends and I crafted sticks as weapons for a game and played in the woods. For lunch we had a Spam contest, whoever built the most creative dish with their Spam won. We then went for a hike by one of the many springs and rivers. After that when we got back to camp my friends and I played a game with our ‘stick weapons’, it was a game kind of like capture the flag. Once it got dark we stopped playing and sat by the camp fire. We made dinners. When we were all done eating we went for a night hike. When we got back we went straight to bed.

Day 3
When I woke breakfast was ready. After breakfast we went canoeing. It was around 7 miles. Some of the areas we had to lift our canoe because it was to shallow (there is a special name for it but I’m not sure of it). We stopped at a spring to have lunch. Then we canoed back. When we got back we rested in our tents. After that we all made our dinners. After dinner and a camp fire we set out for a night hike. We took a nice trail and then lied in the road for awhile and looked at the stars. When we got back we were told a story by Bear and then we went to sleep.

Day 4
We woke early, packed up and were off back to Miami.
